Dear Sisters,
I’ve been quiet lately, and I know some of you have wondered why. Honestly, I haven’t felt the pull to send out a newsletter since we had to cancel our much-anticipated Women’s Wellness Festival. We spent six months planning and pouring our hearts into hosting this event. Unfortunately, the event space was not transparent with us about the necessary permits, which led to the cancellation. Although I knew it wasn’t my fault, I had to sit with all the emotions that came up.
It was hard, especially because it was my idea to bring in my two incredible friends, Carly and Jen, as business partners. Together, we worked tirelessly to invite vendors from our community, healers, a chef, bodyworkers, DJs, and more. When it all fell through, it hit hard. But despite that, some dear friends still decided to gather, and we had the most wonderful time—talking, dancing, laughing, practicing yoga, and journaling together.
I didn’t realize how much I needed that time to be nourished after such a disappointment. It was a reminder that even in the face of setbacks, our sisterhood and community are unwavering. The outpouring of love, kind messages, and understanding I received after the festival cancellation deeply touched me, and I am so grateful for this sweet, supportive community.
We will try again next year, and I believe it will be even better. But for now, we’ve decided to postpone until the time feels right.
Even though the festival didn’t happen this year, I still want to honor the spirit of the equinox. This Equinox is a powerful moment of balance between light and dark, day and night, symbolizing a time of personal alignment and transformation. As we step into this season, we are invited to fully embrace our divine feminine energy—releasing fear, self-doubt, and limiting beliefs around confidence and abundance.
The Equinox reminds us that, just like nature, we are cyclical beings capable of growth, rest, and renewal. It’s a time to harmonize our inner and outer worlds and step into the fullness of who we are: radiant, powerful, and deeply connected to our essence as a Goddess.
Equinox Journaling Prompt: Embracing the Divine Feminine
Reflection:
What does being in my divine feminine mean to me?
How do I want to show up in the world with this energy?
Exercise:Write a letter from the perspective of your lover or partner (even if you don’t have one right now). In this letter, let them celebrate your essence—your intelligence, light, love, joy, and every unique quality that makes you the Goddess you are. Let this exercise help you see yourself through the eyes of love and honor every aspect of who you are.
Let’s continue to nurture each other as we navigate life’s ups and downs together. Thank you for your endless love and understanding. I look forward to connecting with you again soon.
With so much gratitude, Vaza
