I hope your summer has been beautiful so far. We are currently soaking up the sunshine and magic of Greece before heading to Berlin next, and I’m overflowing with stories, downloads and experiences to share with you all. As an entrepreneur, my work never really feels like work because I genuinely love what I do. However, taking the first two weeks off to truly be present with my family has been incredibly rejuvenating for my nervous system.
SLOWING DOWN
This vacation has brought me closer to my daughter, who is now 10.5 years old and on the brink of her teenage years. It's such a critical age, full of transitions and new experiences. Slowing down and spending this quality time together has deepened our bond in ways I could never have imagined. We’ve laughed, explored, and made memories that will stay with us forever.
SAILING WITH A BADASS ROLE MODEL
One of the highlights of our trip has been sailing around the stunning Greek islands with my super cool, smart and beautiful 76-year-old mother-in-law. She is not just the captain of our boat, but also a true badass and an incredible role model for both my daughter and me. Her stories of navigating the open waters, combined with her wisdom and strength, are truly inspiring and I am grateful for every minute we get to spend with her.
IMMERSED IN ANCIENT HISTORY
Being in Greece, you can't help but feel the presence of ancient gods and goddesses in the air. It's like you can taste and smell the rich history wherever you go. Sharing this with my daughter has been such a gift. We've walked through ancient ruins/ temples, swam in crystal-clear waters, and soaked in the timeless beauty of this incredible country.
OVERCOMING MY FEARS OF THE OPEN WATER
Four years ago, I wouldn’t have dared to swim by myself in open water. But now, thanks to my daughter's encouragement, I've become so much more comfortable in the sea. In fact, I proudly achieved Mermaid Level 3 – only 48 more to go! It’s a fun reminder of how far I’ve come and how much more there is to explore and conquer.
But don't get to excited my californian friends, I am still far far faaar away of going into the water with you in Santa Cruz 🦈.
A NEW CHAPTER: FLEXIBILITY, ABUNDANCE AND FREEDOM
After the first two weeks of pure relaxation, I’ve now started working again, enjoying the flexibility my job offers. I've started a new venture with my partner firm. This incredible opportunity allows me to work from anywhere, at any time, making me my own boss and part of an amazing international team of women who love to travel, explore and create a flow of financial abundance. This new role aligns perfectly with my desire to maintain a lighter schedule, focus on what truly matters, and live life to the fullest.
REDISCOVERING MY PASSION
This trip has also given me the chance to fall in love again with my morning routine again. Before my daughter wakes up, I've been indulging in my yoga practice, taking long solo strolls, diving into some great books and podcasts. These quiet moments have been so refreshing and have reminded me of the importance of self-care.
LOOKING FORWARD
As I return to our life in the US, my wish is to carry this sense of peace and balance with me. I want to keep my schedule light, embrace more living, and savor the moments that truly matter. This new job with my partner firm offers exactly that, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity.
